I love chocolate. I am not sure I made that clear. Just to elaborate a little more, I cannot wait to go build my masterpiece chocolate sundae at Coldstone. They do have a pre-made sundae menu, where they have a “chocolate devotion” sundae, but that’s not at at ALL enough for my necessary level of chocolate.
Here is how to make a REAL sundae:
- chocolate ice cream, of course (MAYBE 3/4th chocolate, 1/4 sinless sweet cream to be a little healthy… you will be guilty)
- chocolate brownie
- chocolate chunk cookie dough
- Snicker bars
- Oreo’s
- and top it all off with: some awesome hot fudge
Oh my goodness… I can already feel the cool chocolate ice cream and the hot fudge blending together on my spoon as I shuttle it toward my mouth…
I need some distraction!!!!! Fast!!!!
Oh, here’s a good one..
Sundae Stopper: CBS’s bullshit Tim Tebow Anti-Choice Ad. That is GARBAGE. I attend the United Church of Christ, a church that welcomes everyone no matter what color, orientation, age, etc you are. In fact, that’s what their welcoming commercial was about which then got rejected by CBS. CBS claimed they did not accept ‘advocacy ads,’ but then, low and behold, here is this Anti-Choice crap that is set to air on the Superbowl!!! Mrs. Tebow goes on tv about how she got sick while in the middle of the Philippines, pregnant with Tim, where doctors suggested she should have an abortion. She decided not to but rather continue with her fifth pregnancy, and now look what happened! A football star!!!
How can any one possibly turn down an advertisement for a church that welcomes all people. Then, they go on to accept this offensive, stupid ad: “Don’t get an abortion, your son may become an all-star football player!!!” Wow.
Stated so well by Jonathan Capehart, “Focus on the Family is touting Ms. Tebow’s right to choose while trying to deny the same opportunity — the same right — to other women. Whether CBS is right to run this advocacy ad after rejecting others in the past, I’ll leave to others for the moment. But abortion rights advocates, such as the National Organization for Women, would do well to point out this hypocrisy with an ad of their own.”
CBS did, however, say they decided to change their minds about the advocacy ad rule, and that’s why Focus on The Family was able to put together this anti choice ad for the Super Bowl. CBS even helped them put it together. WTF! So, of course, so last minute, the UCC and other orgs rejected cannot come up with $2 million in the 11th hour before the Super Bowl. CBS did NOT completely open the door to all advocacy ads, though. We know this is true because they just rejected a gay men’s dating site ad, Mancrunch.com.
“By offering one of the most coveted advertising spots of the year to an anti-equality, anti-choice, homophobic organization, CBS is aligning itself with a political stance that will damage its reputation, alienate viewers, and discourage consumers from supporting its shows and advertisers” -Women’s Media Center protest letter.
They lost me!
